Rachel's story
On the evening of May 15, Rachel Widomski was seriously injured by a hit-and-run driver outside of Haiku restaurant. Rachel’s severe spinal cord injuries will leave her paralyzed for life. Please join us in a city-wide fundraising effort to help support Rachel and her family during her long road to recovery.
Rachel and her family need our support for both immediate and long-term needs. Her parents and family have traveled to Columbus to be by her side. Our donations will help the family manage the challenge of costs related to lodging, food and travel.
Rachel's prognosis indicates that she will be hospitalized for months. Her medical expenses and rehabilitation expenses will be insurmountable for her and her family. Our donations will help Rachel and her family pay for the medical care she needs on the road to recovery.

Our online donation system accepts credit cards, e-checks, and PayPal balance. All donations received through this system are placed directly into the Rachel Widomski Medical Care Trust.
Donate in person
You may make a contribution to the Rachel Widomski Medical Care Trust by visiting any Huntington Bank. Checks and cash will be accepted. You may also mail checks to any Huntington Bank.
